Yea I think Marvel did a fantastic job with these movies, and especially slowly introducing the characters and giving them their own movies too.

Tony's quotes are the best ones, hands down.

And I love how much RDJ contributes to that too, he understands the character better than anyone else.

Not to bring up DC but it just reminds me that this is what they should of did before they did Justice League. Give everyone their own movies so we get to know them before the big team up movies. DC was trying so hard to copy off of Marvel they might as well of copied that too lol. That's one of the many reasons The Avengers worked and was a huge success. Along with Endgame being an amazing "ending" to ten years of story.

Oh yea, no offense to DC but I totally agree.

I think with Justice League they wanted to create what Marvel had, but they forgot that Marvel took to time to build up things, they didn't just straight up did an Avengers movie.

Although I gotta say that Marvel could have done that and still do great.

Based on my own experience, when I watched the first Avengers movie, I hadn't seen any of the previous ones, and I still enjoyed it a lot (and then went to watch the previous movies). When I watched Justice League, I was actually a bit confused by some moments of the plot... So I definitely think overall Marvel just does it a lot better.

MCU truly took the time to build every character up and build the groundwork for these team-ups to work and people to make connections. I feel like that's one of the parts where DC kind of fails, they don't know their characters that well in their shared universe so their motivations and drives become a bit muddy when you put them together.

Think we ALL agree that was the fault of DC related to JL and I’m a fan of both just like always

but it’s why DCEU for all purposes failed

They had a plan.

They might sometimes have deviated a bit from it, but it was there. Another reason why it works, a lot of shared universes now just do crossovers and mentions just because they've seen Marvel do it and seen it's a moneygrabber without really thinking about how it'll work.

Really? I feel like I've seen IW so many times already. Although Ultron is probably the one I remember the least as well but the other three are very fresh in my mind. The entire party scene in Ultron is so wonderful. Truly showing that they are all friends and connected and not just superheroes.
