Here's a challenge for US Independence Day -- July 4, 2005

The Challenge: Produce a fan-art portraying NICK WECHSLER as the All-American Boy. This doesn’t have to be specifically patriotic -- it’s completely open to your interpretation of the phrase.

All characters, solos, couples or groupings -- conventional, unconventional, het or slash -- from any show, fandom, episode, movie, universe (or whatever) are welcome and eligible as long as it somehow includes Nick Wechsler.

The Rules:

1. All entries must be posted by 12PM (your local time) June 26 2005. You may enter as many works as you wish.

2. Entries may be photos, photomanips, Avatars, Icons, Drawings, Collages, Movies, moving-gifs or any other visual art-form you choose.

3. Do you own work -- don't "borrow" someone else's (Ok that goes without saying, but I thought it had to be said)

4. On June 27th (late in the day or in the evening) I will produce a poll (or really, Johnnie -- the Technical Manager for FanForums -- will...) and anyone on Fan Forums can vote for 1 week following (12PM July 3rd). Be sure to invite all your friends on other FanForum Boards to stop-by and vote for their favorite (or to vote for your work

5. Everyone who enters will be declared the "WINNER" but the work with the most votes will be declared the "Favorite."

(NOTE: I’m not going to disqualify myself this time because: a.) The votes are counted automatically and I can’t influence them, so I do not need to remain impartial and, b.) This thing is going to be too much fun for me to skip!

Oooh - what a great idea. I will definitely come up with some goods for this. I love Americana. Bwahahahahaha. Some pretty neat entries so far too - Anna he looks so gorgeous in your picture! And Alex, Nick can serve and protect me anytime he wants!

PS - obviously I found my way back here after being briefly lost in the desert. The reason why? I had wiped my history and forgotten what the URL of this place was! I kept searching for www.fanforums.com to no avail. Blushes

I'm fanart challenged, so I doubt I can finish anything by the deadline. But this is a great idea. I have no idea who to pick b/c they're all so nice.
