We will get an official statement on all of this someday. They're burning off the final seasons of ITD and RNM on the same night. I'm surprised one isn't airing with Tom. SL will done on June 21st.

They're giving Tom Swift a really soft place to land and I've seen positive comments about the show already.

Maybe they're hoping TS will be a hit, so they can eventually pair it was ND.

But that will only happen if Tom Swift actually gets a S2, Nancy Drew gets a S5, and they pair the shows up timeline wise...or find a way to do clever crossovers.

If ND gets a S5 and TS a S2. They will have to do a time jump on ND if they actually want to crossover with TS. I don't know what goes on in the minds of these people. The spin off and the original series don't even have the same timelines.

They should tie up "this chapter" of ND in Season 4 and then jump ahead to match up with Tom Swift so we could get to more adult storylines.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Even though they need one badly. Even Riverfail did a time jump. We're not asking for seven years! But something that puts everyone over 21 and matches Tom Swift.

I'm asking for a few years to match up with present day. And now that the show is not going to come back until 2023...the gap is going to widen even more.

Yeah when you look at ND an insane amount of stuff has happened in six months. They should have set things further apart. It'll really help Tom Swift if they can keep a better timeline.

Like I get why stuff happened so close together in parts of Season 1 because of Carson's trial...but there was no reason why more time couldn't have passed in S2 and ESPECIALLY in Season 3. Like...we're supposed to believe only ONE WEEK passed between seasons and Ace is already back from his road trip and Amanda's in Spain?!! Why couldn't have at least 2 weeks passed?!

Hope TS does way better in the time management area.

I will never understand why they were obsessed with 2019?! That timeline is not realistic. I swear fall started twice! Remember summer officially ended in like 1x02? All of that happened within five months?!

You're right! And they don't mention the holidays, so it's like...it's all ambiguous. Technically, Ace should have gone on his road trip during Thanksgiving? And then most of the season took place in December, but nobody mentioned Christmas or Hannakuah?
