Episode Discussion

Tom (Tian Richards) finds himself stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Meanwhile, Zenzi (Ashleigh Murray) is startled when a worried Isaac (Marquise Vilsón) surprises her
while she's in her car applying lipstick and triple checking her already flawless makeup in the mirror after a visit to the gym.
Lastly, Rowan (Albert Mwangi) issues a strong warning to Isaac.

Yep. Nothing has happened. One comment on TVLine said he thought we were getting a sci-fi mystery not a prime time soap.

I just watched the episode and I was so confused for most of it.

Like...they used the whole episode to introduce yet another "mysterious" group? And Tom's mom was trying to recruit him this entire time? Along with everyone else? I mean...why didn't they just use that as the basis for the show instead of TRB stuff?

The Road Back has become so watered down...it's not even funny. They should have just kept it on ND instead of using it on this show.

The ending with Issac implied that maybe they are involved? But it could also be Tom's mom because she said she had to "talk to Isaac in private". Yeah, that's suspicious...

Again no ND Easter Eggs or connection. There's four episodes left.

Also, the dialogue in this episode was abysmal.

"What do you have on?"
"Ass whooping clothes."

UMMMMMM WTF????

Like...this show is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what I imagined.

ETA: Okay after reading a comment on social media, I guess there was a mug from The Claw on the ground in one scene? I never would have noticed that if someone didn't take a screenshot of it though.

I did watch last night and I was kind of confused too.

I think they're definitely trying to do to much with them like having another secret society and basically wanting to colonize another planet? Like even if they had gotten more than one season that's wild.

Like this could have been a good twist if TRB was never supposed to be a thing...instead it just makes it way more confusing.

It's just so, so weird how the show is unfolding.
