I mean they knew they would probably premiere out of the normal tv season. They didn't even start filming until late January.
Will be interesting if TS really does have a 2 year deal. There's no way they could actually pair it with ND this season...unless they put them back into production pretty quickly. __________________

We know the import stuff will have less episodes than the original stuff. We know that stuff already aired in various countries. The Professionals, Family Law and Coroner S4. But we don't know how long they will stretch out those shows. Holiday programming will start in December. Everything goes on break before Xmas. Stargirl is 13 episodes (season been completed) and Kung Fu may keep their 13 episode tradition, but that could change since it's airing in the fall for the first time. But I think they may keep the 13 episodes.
Post S2, AA gets 19/20. The spin off will probably get 19/20 also. Walker will get a lot of episodes, so the spin off may get more than 13 also. Outside of certain shows. We don't know what the episode counts are this fall. We may not see Nancy until the Spring! We have to just wait and see. Last edited by Muffy_Simba; 05-23-2022 at 10:18 PM |

Family Law and The professionals both have 10 episodes that have already aired. Coroner has 12 episodes that already aired. Those are all time fillers. Stargirl has 13. The reality stuff has like 13 or 14 I think.
I think most of these shows will be done by January…maybe sooner. I mean The Professionals aired 2 years ago. I’m not really sure why they put that on the schedule when ND would have made more sense as a leadout. They could hold Nancy past January, but that means the show would be off the air for way over a year and I’m not sure The CW will do that. I mean…they absolutely could, but it would be really weird. Plus, they’re starting in July…so it really depends on how many episodes they have and how many they have in the can by midseason. If they only get 13 again then they will absolutely be wrapped. __________________

You could be right, but they could also be trying to cut down on breaks and hiatuses. One of the biggest criticisms this past season was about how many times certain shows go on hiatus due to production issues or COVID delays. I think they want to have enough episodes banked so they can avoid these issues.
