I tend to forget 3x12....the whole ending of the season kind of runs together for me. But I do remember them having some cute moments.

3x12 wasn't technically a bad episode...it was just overshadowed by Park being there and being pointless. Plus, the whole random Ace is the fourth piece "twist"...which wouldn't have been that WTF if they would have set it up better. All we got was the 3x04 dream sequence and maybbbe Rebecca's heart issue. There was nothing else to really foreshadow it?

Yeah I remember thinking Park was in it way too much

I think the heart issue was the only time I really saw people speculating about it. Otherwise what we knew about it didn't line up with what we knew about Ace's family (he's not the older sibling on his dad's side and on his mom's her family wouldn't have been around during Gettysburg times)

Yes he does! And I'm going to go rewatch the scene right now, so I can pull the quotes.

I'm not really sure what Nancy's issue here is though. Like nothing was stopping her from breaking up with Park and getting with Ace? I guess she could have been overwhelmed and scared? Because it's something she's wanted for so long?? But I'm not sure....

I just don't get Nancy in 3x12 at all. She was really going to kiss Park with Ace right there? After his confession? I guess Nancy was running scared and it was just easier with a random nobody? Because that's all I got...

A support group

I started trying to write a fic where Ace confesses while he's under the truth serum (AU where he's not in the liminal space ) and Nancy immediately tells him she feels the same. That's how it should have been, even without the serum.

I still don't know why they wasted the truth serum on the Park nonsense? Well I actually do have an idea (Shu's fav Mel)...but in terms of the story...it was just so bizarre.
