Why yes!

One of the original songs I was going to use was "Wildest Dreams"...but I honestly felt like it was very unoriginal. So I ended up using "comatose" by sod ven.

These were the exact lyrics I was going to use:

I said, "No one has to know what we do"
His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room
And his voice is a familiar sound
Nothing lasts forever but this is getting good now


The biggest thing for me when choosing songs was that the lyrics had to fit existing scenes AND the Nace relationship in general...so there were a couple songs that I REALLY wanted to use...but I couldn't figure out how to use them.

Yeah I can see how that would limit things. You needed things you could put a gif of an exisitng scene with.

Oooo those lyrics fit the scene so well! But I think I do like the font you ended up using in the set a little better. It pops more.

Yeah I actually ended up using Elegant Agege for the lyrics and Shorelines for the artist/song. I also used a 77% opacity with screen. I also used stroke for all font and a drop shadow on the artist/song.

I tried SOOO many different fonts though.

^ Thanks for the fonts and mentioning the technique you used, S. I was wondering how you got the text to look transparent. Amazing job! Almost looked similar to mine with the colored fonts, though I chose to leave the lyrics in white. The font I used for those was one called Tw Cen MT, in bold and small caps, size 14, with size 16 leading. The font I used for the song names was called Malina, size 30 and bolded (I saved the PSD so I could drag the layers to a new gif and just change the text to save some time )

I completely understand. A lot of the stuff I work on never gets the notes they deserve. I'm okay with it as I make gifs for myself as much as I do others. But it is frustrating sometimes to spend hours on something and have it amount to so little. Even more so when something I spend less time on gets more notes than something I spend hours on .

Also...to bring a little bit of our discussion from the Gen Thread over here...we all know the curse storyline was thought of when they were writing the finale. So...what was the point of the fake love triangle and why did the writers try SO HARD to gaslight the audience into thinking a random guest character who did not live in town and had no history with the characters would be a real threat to their golden slowburn couple who hasn't even kissed yet for real after 50+ episodes?
