Yeah I honestly think na’s first kiss and then getting together are both in the finale. What will prob intersect is the emotional cheating but I am not gonna judge cause I have a tendency of shipping emotional/literal cheaters. Pin the letter P for problematic on my chest.

Unfortunately, you are probably right. I guess I wish they writers would stop acting so hypocritical about the show. The writing was so good in 1b especially with the mystery, but the relationship stuff wasn't always...great.

Also, I noticed that Ace acts the exact same goofy way about his "crushes": Bess and Amanda. As soon as he knew he had to chance with Bess, he changed his tune...and his relationship with Amanda is different now too. He was so stupid at the beginning, but now it's more uneasy.

And honestly he should have broken up with her for that comment about Grant she made in the finale. It's 100% obvious he is running from his feelings for Nancy and that's the only reason he agreed to give her another chance with all that nonsense about "priorities" (especially when he spent the whole episode "prioritizing" Nancy who is NOT his girlfriend ~~yet~~.

Yeah, I was annoyed that he didn’t dump her on the spot. That was an insensitive crack. Which is why I don’t care if he plays her for a fool.

Ooof yeah I had forgotten that Grant remark. Yeah I think Amanda is just kind of a distraction for him. The fact that the first thing he says to her is about Nancy is very telling.

I wonder if we'll get more goofy Ace when he realizes that he likes Nancy.

I actually think it'll be the opposite. I think he'll get really contemplative and quieter than usual. Nancy changed his life and gave him a purpose/friends. Realizing the depths of his feelings will probably scare the hell out of him. I mean even subconsciously he is running. What's going to happen when he's fully aware?

Although I do think a happy!Nace will act stupid and goofy around each other and make everyone want to gag.

ETA: Finally had a chance to make a Nancy/Ace thread on the Couples board! Please go over there and show some love. It definitely won't be as active as this one, but it would be nice to get it established.

She would hate it, but they made her money betting on them...so she can't hate them TOO much.
