3x03 was written by someone who really cares about NA's relationship and their characters. I guess it's no coincidence that he hasn't written another episode this season yet. It makes sense not to have the big NA writer write episodes when you're trying so hard to erase the ship.

But yeah I think this is the weakest season of them all so far.

Weakest by ALOT. It baffles me when people say they love this season so much. I'm just like and why?!!?

Oh yes our favorite writer who actually likes Nace That makes a lot of sense that it was such a good episode then. And also why he probably hasn't written more now that I think about it

He's probably still on the staff but I bet he's been overruled quite a bit.

God, this season has been such a disaster.

I have no idea. It's obviously ruled by the showrunners. It's their show and we're apparently the only people who don't like this season...but

Okay definitive Season 3 ranking:

The last three I'm not 100% sure about cause they were all pretty bad. I ranked 3x09 higher than 3x02 and 3x08 because of the parallel universe cliffhanger which was pretty cool. 3x08 had the Ryan/Ace scenes though...but way too much Nancy and the goldfish. 3x02 has no redeeming qualities at all and I still haven't seen the entire episode.

I actually thought about this last night and we have a pretty similar ranking.

1. 3x03
2. 3x04. I really liked getting a more Bess-centric episode and the dream scene.

4. 3x01. I thought this was such a strong episode to start off what was going to be a good season *sighs*

6. 3x05
7. 3x08. This and 3x09 kind of blur together for me and I was having a hard time remembering what happened in one episode versus the other. I ranked this one a bit higher because I liked the Ace and Ryan stuff, and how much it explained.
8. 3x09
9. 3x02 is probably the weakest of the season for me too. Aside from all the goldfish stuff, Nancy going by herself to confront a serial killer is insane!

Funny how I wasn't a huge fan of S2 and had high hopes for S3 after that trailer dropped. This FHK stuff is not it. It sounds interesting on paper, but what they gave us wasn't it. They need David Fincher, Clive Barker or the late, great Wes Craven. And of course boring ass Agent Park and his inappropriate interactions with Nancy. Nancy v Temperance is a let down, too. What Ace wants to do with his future should have been his storyline. No talking, but action. They could have used him wanting to find his purpose in life to keep Nace from making out. They don't have the rights for him to also dig more into his father's past. We know they're Hardys, but the series cannot say it. His father was a US Marshal and a legend on the police force. Even in one of the episodes. The writers have Ace say, you keep your past a secret or something like that. TPTB don't have the rights to reveal Thom's surname.
