I hadn't really thought of that before but I think you're right. It does kind of seem like George is their favorite.

I mean Leah is so good...but I do think the writers love George's character the most.

I also think they like Riley more than Ryan...and that's why he's still around so much.

I do think Ryan was always going to be more important than it seemed at first. But, yeah george gets kid gloves that they don't give their lead.

I mean George is kind of my favorite too I think so I kind of get it. But yeah I think they even treat her better than Nancy.

I think Riley does a really good job with Ryan's growth and making him likeable. And yeah I think that's why he's around so much.

Don't get me wrong I love George, but Nick has wormed his way into my heart after Nancy/Ace.

He was always going to be "part" of the big twist...but I think we see Ryan more than we probably always were going to BECAUSE of Riley. Like they gave him this friendship with Ace and put him in scenes with Nick and Bess because of the actor and not necessarily because of the character.

Riley does a amazing job at making Ryan really likeable! I think you're right, if it was someone else they probably wouldn't give him scenes with the other characters.
