Nancy doesn't need anymore trauma like that. She needs to recover. I'm hoping they actually wrap everything up so Nancy can actually take a breath and get some therapy before facing the next supernatural threat. I hope whatever the cliffhanger is...it's more like "______" is coming to town instead of someone's life being in peril again.

They need to put some distance between all the events of the past two seasons and whatever else is next. It's just too much.

Can’t see a time jump happening? Why not? Everything has happened way too close together. It’s bordering on unrealistic already.

I really hope they do one. I feel like it just makes the most sense at this point.

Yeah...even if it's just a few months...but I still think it needs to be six months unless more time is going to pass throughout the season in general.

It's crazy how little time has passed on the show. I think a few months is probably the minimum. I just hope they don't jump to a mid-pandemic 2020.

plus don't they need to atleast catch up to 2020. The show is already 2 years behind real time.

It's November 2019. They're not going to show the pandemic, so I wonder if they might just do an alt!2020 because it would be weird to see them skip 18 months to present day. I guess they could just skip ahead in time and just not show what the year was.

Exactly. Or they could just not reference the year overtly at all.

No, they have not said anything...but we're all hoping because Seasons 1 and 2 have taken place basically over a few months and there needs to be some distance from all this drama, especially for Nancy's sake. How can she move on and process everything, if there's no respite from anything?

They already said they won't mention the pandemic...but the show's timeline is still technically in November 2019...so if they do a time jump...it's either a huge one to catch up the current real-life timeline (less likely) or like a six month one so we can get back to summer (more likely).

Although I suppose, the show could just jump a few months (into winter??)...but that would be weird especially since they're going to be filming in the summer again.
