that episode was kind of an outlier with the show...it was good (even without Ace :( ) and I wonder if his is a possible template for future stand alone episodes.

That was a good episode! I wouldn't be mad if they did more like it.

I know they're supposedly doing more stand-alone episodes in Season 2...but I wonder if they will be loosely connected by some overall arc. Maybe this Simon character is part of a larger demon hierarchy.

I hope so i really liked that episode, it shows that the hsow can do well without the ghost haunting side
