And yeah I think we figured out it had to be through his dad's side just through other stuff they had said before in the show but like we shouldn't have had to do that?

That sounds like something that would have been important to see a reaction to. It's not a small deal to have a piece of someone's soul I don't think

But he wasn't even Thom's firstborn son...which is just weird. It was just...never explained.

It was like this big cliffhanger at the end of one episode and then by the time the next episode picked up...everyone's just like "Cool beans!" It was so weird...

Yeah logically it should have been Grant? They never explained that.

It feels like there was a missing episode where they should have dealt with all of the fallout from finding out Ace had the heart piece. It was so weird how they picked right up with confronting Charity/Tempe

Well they probably planned for 18. You can tell the Nancy and Park thing was supposed to last ALOT longer. So they had to rush through the last few episodes. When they got to the finale...they didn't want to rehash the Lev plot...so they just kinda used Ace as a OMFG cliffhanger, while simultaneously using the entire episode an elaborate gotcha.

I mean I guess the one upside of less episodes is that we didn't see as much of Nancy and Park

But yeah it did mean a lot of unfinished storylines. I'm still not sure what happened to the Copperhead.

Park was in 8 episodes...I really didn't want to see more of him...

I think Tempe killed him and took the other hearts? I'm not even sure how Tempe was powerful enough to kill him??? But maybe she always was...and just waited until he found all the hearts before she acted?
