First Daughter is so cute Mandy Moore's movie that's similar (Chasing Liberty) & this one are on my guilty-pleasure pile so cheesy, but not overkill, at least I don't think so. Cuteness.

almost I haven't seen "The Son of No One" or "Jack and Jill" ....yet


But if I had to choose my favorite Katie movie is Disturbing Behavior (1998) I Know that might be a weird choice but it is the very first thing that I ever seen Katie Holmes in and I was just like. wow who is that and Katie as a bad Girl .....





Plus I love this song from the soundtrack and Katie in the video is to Die for





It also feels like it was such a different time back then (1998 when I was in high school) and I know that makes me sound so old to say but it really was and I like to hold on to thing that bring back that feeling and that movie & song is one of those things to me.

I never saw that video before! Thanks for bringing it over luke! I saw Michelle on tv at the Gold Globes! She won!!!! She brought Busy with her as always I love how close they are! They were sitting at a table with Madonna...it's amazing how Michelle's career completely took off. I'm so happy for her!

OT to my life....I'm in a new relationship with this guy. And I've always held back when it comes to dating and guys and everything. I feel like it's mostly because of Dawson's Creek and seeing the kind of love that Dawson and Joey had and I never saw a purpose in dating someone who I would feel any less for than D/Jo felt for each other. But D/Jo are fiction. And now I'm dating this guy who...I don't necessarily picture myself spending the rest of my life with. Is that awful? Being in a relationship without seeing a future for it? I like this guy and he's really supportive and I have fun when I'm with him. But I'm not in love with him. Maybe that will change? I don't know. I'm new to this whole dating thing... is dating about getting to know different types of people and how you relate to them? Or should you only be in a relationship with someone you picture yourself marrying? Obviously all relationships don't end in marriage, but if you don't have that hope in the begining does that make the relationsihp a lie?

Oh, I've not seen the video in so long, thanks for bringing it over, Luke! And I'm with you, Disturbing Behaviour is my fav Katie movie too, closely followed by Abandon Nd then First Daughter I still haven't seen Mad Money, though, or her latest ones. Jack & Jill has a poster up in my local cinema, though, between the "upcoming" movies

Kimberly: I don't know, I think it only makes the relationship a lie if you're not both on the same page, if he has those kind of hopes when you don't. sometimes you just want the company and the fun that comes with having a partner, without the pressure of "will this work out". Then again, I'm not a believer in marriage, so I don't go into anything with those hopes, really, just seeing if things work out long term.

Kimberly, I think I'll just go with the obvious advice: how does he see your relationship? If you both feel the same, then I don't think it's a problem, but otherwise that doesn't go well from my experience. Just talk to him and ask him, for example, where he sees you two in half a year, a year, or so.

They're showing Jack and Jill at our local theatre but apart from Reign over Me (which is not a comedy anyway) I can't stand Adam Sandler so was wondering if anyone has already seen it so that I don't spend money if it's not any good.

I think The Romantics also shouldn't be forgotten. I didn't quite understand the movie at times, but I felt that Katie did a great job, her scenes were a real pleasure to watch.

It's gotta feel pretty awesome for her winning a Golden Globe I mean that's one of the best awards an actor can get I'm proud of her.
