Urgh, I've just had a client yell on my on the phone because I told a good friend of mine the truth that he doesn't pay at all and that he is unreliable (which he is, which is why our cooperation has been put to a halt), as if I was the bad one. It's not like I am the one who doesn't keep her end of the bargain over and over again, no matter how he acts and how he treats others and how he always complains when I speak the truth? And then he even dared to call my mum on VACATION to tell us to pi** off and was upset when she told him to get lost and that she won't let him talk about me the way he always does.

I really am so through with this guy, I can't believe I've ever worked for him. Hope nobody else here has someone that likes to make it look like as if it's your fault they cannot behave just because you tell people that you care about the truth in order to protect them?

that kind of ppl are better out of your live than still here.
I hate it when ppl twist the truth for their own convenience, but don't get me started...this is your rant hahah

cute_kitten 03-17-2012 01:19 AM

I'm cutting him out anyway, that really was the last straw he pulled

JenMixelle 03-18-2012 04:25 AM

Ugh, that guy sounds like a right a**. I hate when people take advantage, aren't holding up their end of a deal and then make you feel like it's your fault. Hope none of your other clients are like that and you're right, cutting him off and counting your losses is the best way.

:group_hug:

Thanks girls :) I even got ill with all the stress I had because of him, he's really not worth it. He even said on the phone that now my friend had a 'contrived image' of him that is 'completely untrue'. And then I had an e-mail from her thanking me for preventing her from making a huge professional mistake and then discussed the matter with some other people who'd confirmed that he wasn't that way just with me. And I know of 3 reliable people that have also been played like that from him and who'd already cut him off as well.

He really needs to realise that this is not the way to treat your business partners let alone other people in general.

Last week was the first time I actually truly stood up for myself when he rang me and it really feels liberating :)

OK, repeated rant here: whyyy can't I be in the same time zone as y'all so I could watch Apt 23 live?

cute_kitten 04-19-2012 01:23 AM

At least you're one hour ahead of me, Jen, if I wanted to watch livestream, primetime shows would be starting at 2 AM

VaNderBeEkFreAk 04-19-2012 03:37 AM

last night the ep was online around 1:30 :)

cute_kitten 04-19-2012 04:29 AM

Still too late for me :( as I have huge problems falling asleep if I go to bed after midnight. It didn't use to be like that but guess age is catching up with me  So I just watch the following morning or during the weekend and it's just as fine :)

JenMixelle 04-19-2012 12:43 PM

I did the staying up for Once Upon a Time, but then I couldn't find a decent live stream & it was on Sunday night so it made me more tired than usual for Monday mornings. Luckily, the downloads are up pretty soon ;)

I'd still appreciate having the chance to see it live, if for nothing else but not having to try & avoid spoilers.

I have to throw some bricks!

My classmate, who i helped out HUGE, is so bad a communicating it's making me not only throw bricks but also start a little fire!

Three days ago she send me a mail saying/asking: you are going to do that, right? This not being agreed to, but ok i don't mind doing it. I just don't like to be forced in to it.

I have to send a dialogue list to translate, by mail not email and she's already asking me if the man did his job. She can be so pushy sometimes, it's not realistic.....and so frustrating. I stopped arguing with her a long time ago, she's always right! grrr so annoying...i don't know what do to anymore. It started with me just plain not doing these things she forced on me, which btw didn't help our friendship (i don't consider her my friend anymore) but now im lost for new tactics...this has been going on for a really long time and she just pretends everything is ok. I don't get her at all!

JenMixelle 04-21-2012 01:06 AM

I'm gonna guess you tried talking to her that it's not OK to assume you can do stuff for her when she just decides to? Maybe she just needs told over and over again until she gets it?
