Aww, Lucas. Yeah, I can understand your feelings there...I couldn't manage two words when I saw James in person. But then again, I didn't really have much time either. It was a very quick handshake/autograph moment. *sigh* Oh well!

Wellll...I talked my Aunt and Uncle into taking me to Wilmington during the very last weekend of filming of the show since I was too young to go by myself at the time. I was so dead-set on going before they all packed up and left that I'm pretty sure there was some serious begging involved on my part. But that's beside the point...

So we got to Wilmington on a Friday night and had to leave on Sunday morning so we literally had one day to do as many DC-related things as possible...including seeing the cast. SO we went to Screen Gems Studios on Saturday morning to ask about being extras, but they already had enough so that didn't work out. So our next plan was to talk to someone that worked on the set and find out where they were filming since we knew they were on location somewhere. We talked to the nice guy that worked at the little cafe that was on the studio lot, told him we were there for my birthday (only partly untrue....my birthday was only like a month away!), and he talked to a security guard who gave us a CALL SHEET!!! An actual, official DC call sheet that all of the cast and crew got. I still have that thing somewhere...it told us exactly where they would be filming all day and that was the place they used as the hospital Jen was at in the finale. We got to see James, Katie, Kerr, Josh, Mary Margaret and Michelle. All of them but Michelle came over to sign autographs for the little group of us that had formed outside. We had to stay on the other side of the gate because of "rules" and such. Also, I'm pretty sure I met Greg Prange, who directed the second part of the finale. He was wearing a Hawaiin shirt and looked very Director-ish and introduced himself as Greg, sooo...yeah. I think that was him. ha Kevin Williamson was also there, but he walked around smoking and talking on his cellphone almost the entire time. I thought about throwing something at him at one point but restrained myself. Anyway, I'll break down the cast meetings...

Mary Margaret Humes was the first to come over and she was by far the most friendly and open with us. She made sure to get a picture with all of us, and signed an autograph for everyone and found out where we were all from. Soooo nice. Can't say enough about her.

Second came...James! Be still my beating heart. I'm pretty sure I didn't breathe for the 3-4 minutes that he was near us. Unfortunately, he stayed on the opposite side of the gate, which was short, but still kept any of us from getting a picture with him. We just got them OF him. He did shake my hand and sign this weird local magazine thing that I had that had a cast picture on it. I guess it was in honor of their last week of filming and it was the ONLY thing I had. But he came off as very sweet, humble and a little shy...like approaching us was a little strange for him, but nothing but positive things to say about him. Plus, he's even hotter in person IMO, if that's possible.

Next was Katie and Kerr together. Kerr smoked like a chimney almost the entire time we were...umm, observing...the goings-on. He stopped before he came over to us though. Katie looked like a terrified deer in headlights the entire time and I'm not even exaggerating. It may have just been an emotional time for her because I know by the call sheet that it was the second to last day of filming for her (the next day was just her shooting that scene at the end of "Joey Potter and the Capeside Redemption" where she's walking around Paris. I never realized they even did scenes from completely different episodes out of order sometimes!)...but she acted scared to come over to us. I think that's why Kerr and few of their "people" came together. Anyway, Kerr was nice and I think I got his autograoh on that magazine too but can't remember for sure. I don't have much an opinion about Katie because she didn't say two words...I didn't get her autograph.

Last was Josh. He came with a big posse and had all of his, "I just got the crap beaten out of me" make-up on...that was pretty amusing for me. I got a picture of him. He talked to a few of the girls but I stayed back with my Aunt and Uncle and didn't bother trying to get his autograph. I probably should have at least tried, but at the time I just didn't care (we had all recently found out how the show was ending...I was still in a depression at that point )

Soon after that they stopped filming, went inside, turned on music and started bringing in what looked like alcohol SOOO...we all left. Later on, we trespassed at Dawson's house but the owner was in the yard so we had to quickly turn around...I didn't get a good picture. We ate at the restaraunt that was Leery's Fresh Fish. Saw the water fountain on the boardwalk that Pacey and Andie danced at. The music store...aaand, I'm sure there were a couple of other places, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

*deep breath* Wow. I haven't thought about all of that in a long time. I'm feeling so nostalgic right now.

-One full day in Wilmington beats my 4 hours Thank god there are so many sites downtown. All I had to do was turn my head and I would recognize something ...and good thing because I had the four hours all planned out with maps and everything but i was too in awe to direct my dad where to go next. those maps barely got used

- a call sheet!!!! see, most people would think we would be by the way we react to such things but i'm just as excited reading this as you probably were when you were living it btw, that's a great piece to memorabilia to have

- i wouldn't have minded you throwing something at kevin....he could have used some sense knocked into him but good idea not too...you probably would have been escorted out of the area

- James touched you *crazy fan girl squeel*

- I've heard about Katie being really intimidated by all of that. ....That's why I don't understand how she likes her lifestyle now

It's nice to hear good things said about James from a person that met him.

It's funny how fans always say a lot of celebrates are shy off screen when they meet them. It makes me wonder how they can be an actor or actress when they are that way.

To bad you didn't get Katie's autograph that would be cool to have now even more so with her being an even bigger star at least you got James autograph. No offense to Josh but I wouldn't of cared less about not getting his autograph ether.

I have seen people say Katie was intimidated by tons of fans too. maybe now she's use to it.

Oh jeez. My former-mod self had a big "duh" moment. I didn't even THINK about this being the picture thread when I posted my story. I should be ashamed!

I wish I had my pictures scanned so I could share them. Maybe after the wedding I'll have time to get that done for you guys!
