As I mentioned on the episode thread, I thought that there were too many plots introduced at once. They could have focused more on the characters to flesh them out first and leave some of that government conspiracy for later. It's not like they focused a lot on this plot any way, so it felt a bit like it was just added for the sake of having a plot about alien hunters and government conspiracies. I'm sure it'll somehow tie into the murder mystery plot at some point but still. They really glossed over Liz finding out (or being shot for that matter) and rushed Max/Liz. I have no clue why I'm supposed to believe they are soulmates. I don't even know what they like about each other. __________________

Ok thanks for explaining more about your feeling rushed and too much
 I agree now with you explaining where yea they could have left out the government conspiracy stuff where you do have a point You also have a point too about the Max|Liz where they could have focused more on their history instead of BOOM this whole making my brain mush with an angst of Liz thinking he killed her sister and still not trusting him  It is making my head|heart absolute mush cause of the whole "suppose to be soulmate" but I think in my case its cause of being a fan of original and knowing they are meant to be soulmates that has my brain all mush So I get what you are saying now that you've explained it a bit more  __________________

I agree there were moments that were rushed. I think because they only have 13 episodes this season and I think they are trying to meet certain points

 forgot about thatI will openly say that it is feeling rushed but yet still addicted and behind the show to stay __________________

They probably wanted to establish all plots they have planned for the 13 episodes in the Pilot but it felt a bit crammed. I still enjoyed it though.
 The second and third episodes had already a better pacing and more Marie in episode 3. __________________

Oh basing your rushed just off the pilot?
 My thoughts were on all 3 - but that might have been just my fault of doing all 3 in a row and being way overwhelmed by the angst of the Max|Liz__________________
