The Alien & The Airman

They grew up in the small town Roswell in New Mexico and sometime during high school they grew closer and they fell in love
with each other. But something happened during their graduation which made Alex leave Roswell and Michael behind. Ten years
later he went back and to his surprise Michael stayed in Roswell all these years. Seeing each other again all of their feelings they had
for each other when they were seventeen came back to the surface and it was impossible for them to stay away from each other.

I know they said they sorta mirror malex/echo but they made it literal in the finale. With liz saying max makes it quiet in her head.
I kinda get why Alex stopped the ily as it was more a goodbye one so he wanted a we lived one and I guess the ilys are more in actions but I wouldn’t mind one of them saying the actual words.
Also was Tyler not available for the shooting as he was barely there. In fact did he talk to anyone other than max/Michael. Oh and thanks for the new thread.
Sorry about the long post I just watched and had to get thoughts out.

Tyler was available... not sure why he wasn't in the group scenes. I mean from Michael's pov.. we know why he kept Alex away from Jones, but RNM has always had this issue.. they jump from thing to thing without letting us see how someone or something gets from a to b. Hoping season 4 gets a little better at bridging those gaps.

Malex was amazing! I am still blown away that Micheal's love for Alex is at Nora levels... like we been knew it was always Alex Michael loved, but to have that confirmed so completely!!! Love that for us.

I get why Alex stopped the ILY but a follow up at the end would have been nice. Like I was waiting for it.

Jones was going after Alex after seeing in Michaels head and nothing came of it...Are they afraid of using Alex for plots or something. They even skipped the scene of Alex seeing Michael after he was taken and Michael getting the machine. Not to mention Alex was awol in the big showdown with Michaels father.

Vent away... I know that Alex not being apart of the bigger action part of the finale is something that fans are not happy with.

I think I am still hyped on what exactly we got for Malex... this whole season has really solidified just how much these two men love each other. Jones going into Michael's mind and knowing Alex is his everything... pure gold

I love that Malex are together and are super good at communicating now but get Alex more involved. He is more than just the other half of Malex.

I cant wait to see where they are at the start of next season. Domestic boyfriends.

^ To be honest.. I have been worried that Alex would just be relegated to Michael's love interest, but I really don't see that will happening. Alex is a fan fave, and he is played by an actual queer actor.. them sidelining him would not go over well, nor should it. Alex and the Manes also play such a huge part in the alien world on earth.

Malex have just been so good... their communication is amazing. They are actually talking and voicing their fears and supporting each other and being each other's rocks. I have loved it. I can't wait to re-watch their scenes again.

The Malex was fantastic, I still can’t believe how much they love each other. Alex was under-utilised, and I am hoping next season they don’t do that again.
