He is, I love how he puts on one mask for people but his vulnerability is not that far from the surface espically with Alex.

Michael V does such an amazing job as this version of Mikey G. I love Brendan as Michael so I was worried when I first heard of this reboot. But this cast and espically Michael V does such an amazing job they bring their own take and I am excited to see what happens

Oh interesting that they've kept the same even for the reboot cause Michael had that troubled growing up foster care in the original -- making it understandable that he is tough like he is

Exactly. Michael had a hard life which made him have a heard shell but if he loved you? That made that love even more amazing With Maria in the OG and Alex in the reboot. He wasn't easy to be opening up but if he did, then that person was special

He reminds me of Damon speaking that way related to TVD
 Character that was very hard to let somebody in but once they did - you are in for life and the character will defend you until their dying breath __________________

They make the most relatable. Because everyone has baggage one way or another, so to see someone on tv like that. It makes you want to root for them
