Oh, have you ever seen the virtual tour of Deckard's apartment? __________________

This is a cool film. Best taken as a art piece, not as a piece of escapism. Which is why the later versions of the film are more appropriate. Particularly the Director's Cut. The Final Cut changes too much.

I don't know, I liked escaping into the world of Blade Runner when I was a teenager. I found that world oddly relaxing. Maybe it was Vangelis' music, or the special effects, or whatever.
This is why I like watching that video of Deckard's apartment. I could fall asleep listening to the sound of rain from his balcony and "Blade Runner Blues" playing in the background. I actually still enjoy the original theatrical cut. I don't like them editing Rutger Hauer's line, "I want more life... fer." He didn't say "father" __________________

He didn't say father in the Director's Cut either, only in the Final Cut.

I never understood why they changed it. Calling him "father" seemed out of character.

It's annoying.

I'm ambivalent about cutting out Harrison's voice over monologue.

The film works better without it.

I was okay with it.

Harrison wasn't.

That is true. Harrison even deliberately phoned in his monologue in the hopes that it would be so bad the studio wouldn't use it. They did anyway.
But then, Harrison was also adamant that Deckard was human and not a replicant. __________________
