Goodbye and thank you for everything my beauties.
 I had been campaigning for Lily James ever since the 24th of November, 2015 and I have been posting avidly about her ever since. I was more than thrilled when the board finally got its opening on the 1st of October, 2018. Then it was more than an honor to moderate from the 16th of December, 2018. From the moment the moderator opening deadline ends, that's a whole 1,661 days (4 years, 6 months, 18 days) I have spent advocating for her here at Fan Forum. So it is with a heavy heart that the time has come for me to make this thread. I am stepping down from moderating this board. I have, in no way, lost interest in Lily, who she is and what she does. I still love her to pieces, but I have, however, lost interest in this board, in a way that has affected the post count here. This dawned on me a few months ago, but then I recieved a PM from my then co-mod Emma saying she was stepping down. This had come at a time when I was not prepared to moderate another board alone, however, Christine stepped up and I felt a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. I decided to give it another go at trying to keep up with posting here, but I physically just couldn't do it. Therefore, the time has come for me to pass the honor onto someone else. Someone who is just as dedicated, if not even more than me. I know this post has been very long-winded and probably unnecessary to some, especially since I haven't made a thread like this on any other board I left, but I really thought I needed to voice how much it truly means to me. I have all the faith in the world that someone amazing will step up and I wish them the very best of luck. This board is lovely and their are some really great, dedicated posters here. I also wish my lovely co-mod Christine all the very best. She has been my rock.  |

 I’m sorry to hear your stepping down from Lily. I know you were the original to support her on here and this means a lot to you. I understand you completely though and I hope they find a mod that is as dedicated as you were! __________________

So happy to have helped you on here and so sad to see you step down, but I know your doing this for the right reason for you... And as much as I am gonna miss you on here, we are still co-mods on Colin... And I am always here if you need someone to talk to or whatever, you are more then welcome to PM if you need that... __________________

i adore rhis post cause it's not a goodbye it is a see you later . You have done so much for this board and it shows , it is standing cause of you , as you said you won't be a stranger to the baord as well you can post as a fan with all happy thoughts. I have so many boards that i love but can't post on or boards I've stepped down from but still be a fan . Thanks for all your hard work Jade , this board will miss you  __________________

So sorry to see this, Jade, but it’s totally understandable.
Sometimes, the time just comes when the need to be the moderator leaves us, and we just need to post as a regular fan. I totally get that feeling! And don’t think making this thread was unnecessary or cheesy. I’ve done it at all the boards I’ve had to step down from.  I always like to let my posters know that I love them and love the board and will continue to post there, just not as a moderator.  |
