I'm not liking Grace at all. Letting Olive take care of her like that and by the looks of it, she never really stopped taking care of her mum.

Grace needs taken care of. We saw that the entire time. Look at her falling apart in 4 over the insurance money, then Ben solving everything. The entire relationship with Danny seems to have been built on his taking care of her. She got that village of men to take care of her too.

Yep, the past five and a half years for her seem to have been her looking for someone to take care of her. It's sad that she let that be Olive for six months until Olive got hurt and Grace got help.

Where were Grandma and Grandpa during that time? I know they were grieving but they still had plenty of time for Jared. They should have been keeping a better eye on their granddaughter, the only family member they had left.

Maybe Grace put on a front for them so they thought she was coping? I'd hate to think they just left Olive to it, it seems unlike them.

It does seem unreasonable.

I think the only real explanation is that they didn't know the extent of what was going on.

Maybe, but they had known Grace for 15 years and they must have suspected?

I am as bad as Grace about waffling, but after a rewatch, I want them together because I like them together.

Which I think was a big part of what drew her to Danny. He was someone else to take care of her.

I want them together because it is what makes the most sense for the story. But, also because they are good together. Ben wants to take care of Grace and she brings him out of his fixations. She grounds him. I think Ben could become a megalomaniac without Grace. And Grace would implode under her own doubts without Ben.

Not if she's been strong the entire time they've known her. If they know her as a strong woman then she would likely be used to hiding it from them when she's struggling.

Thanks for the tweet. I enjoyed them in this episode and for the first time I really see how deeply in love they are, but I don't think they can survive the secrets.

I can see Grace's perspective. Husband comes home with busted up car and a crazy story after not being around, being fired and investigated at his work, sick child and himself hurt from some explosion and armed raid. I would kick him out too for sure
