Grace seems very determined that everything has to be on her terms. I don't see her agreeing to leave and letting Ben and Michaela stay and right now, Ben and Grace are at such odds, that they can't be under the same roof. I guess Michaela left out of loyalty to Ben? She said, "we will figure something out." But, it is not a situation that allows Ben and Olive to work on their relationship. Which is sad, because Olive needs stability.

I am wondering if the cost of the callings is Ben saves Cal but loses his relationship with Olive to the point it can never be repaired.

Same. It doesnt have to be either or. Ben can have a relationship with both of them.

Interesting theory. Ben being out of the house actually will make it harder for him to reconnect with Olive. I'm not a fan of him living apart from his children at all.
