This episode is what I needed for Grace. I really hope this is a turning point for her and they don't revert back to how she was because I really liked her in this episode. My only real concern is the disregard for Olive in general from everyone but her grandfather. I get that in this episode because of the Cal situation but I need it to change next week.
Olive calling Michaela for help It was nice of Jared to help them out with getting rid of the police, but the way he went off in a huff when Michaela didn't want him to go with her was nagl. It was a family thing, and he's not exactly family. I guess that's the Autumn situation resolved now? I don't expect to get any follow up with her daughter. The Zeke situation is intriguing. It's not just the plane. Why 2017? What's the significance of that? This cutting Saanvi out has really got to stop. |

Yeah i feel for Olive. I think she understood cause wanted to find Cal just as much. But it pains me when she said she wanted to help but she had to stay home. I just want her to feel included somehow.

Really loved this episode! Slowly but surely we are getting to know more and I love that!
I was so worried for Cal but I am glad that Ben and Grace found him and I am also glad Grace finally started to see what Ben and Cal went through and that she is trying to understand it. of course she can never fully understand cause she wasn't on the plane. I am glad Olive called Michaela for help and she on her part called Jared to help and I was really happy that he did. Who knows what would have happened if the cops were still involved. I really wonder what the Major wants exactly. And who she is. I am really interested in Zeke and whatever happened to him! __________________

I was expecting Ben and Grace to find Cal but they had be worried for a second there. I really thought Autumn had sold him out.
I hope now that Grace knows that one of them considers that these people that want Cal may well want Olive too as a control subject. Maybe also Michaela because her callings also seem to be stronger than most. |

I think each episode is getting better. Loved the team work. All the Stones and Jared played their part in this one.
JR was perfect as a Jared who was acting when he came in all we found Cal. The scene where they see the crayon drawing of them looking at the crayon drawing was fantastic. Loved the twist with Autumn. The angle with Zeke is really an interesting one. How many others may their be? And maybe Fiona and Daly are less than 5 1/2 years. |

It really does keep getting better.
The Zeke thing has be so curious. It kind of throws everything we knew up in the air. It's likely not related to the plane itself at all. I hope so. I want to see them again. |

I enjoyed the episode. I liked how the mystery has been deepened by the discovery of the man at the end. I thought all the clues Cal left for his parents were a bit convoluted though.
I'm glad Grace knows the truth now. She really needed to had been told all this from the beginning though. It all seems a bit of a plot device to cause angst to me. But then their relationship is not what I'm watching for, so I can ignore it. I just wish the writers had been a bit more clever. Anyway, an episode with more emphasis on the mystery element of the show is better for me! __________________

I donβt watch this show for ships. But I think it would be more interesting to seeBen and Grace work through everything together than their split and we get a will they or wonβt they ship focus with Ben and whoever. Then it would be more about ships and less ablyt family for him. We already have the shipping with Michaela and that looks to be even more complex coming up. I donβt want two love squares. The one with Michaela will be enough. And hopefully the triangle with Danny is nearing its end where he is just a family friend who does things with Olive. The triangles were starting to overshadow the mystery. I think they were important for the first season and the Stone siblings accepting things that happened while they were gone. But they both seem to be at that point now so no more need to keep dragging it out.
This episode had the feel of a penultimate season episode, wrapping up a few things, while setting up a new mythology behind the time travel. And that makes sense given they initially had 13 ordered. The promo shows we are getting back to the blood markers next week. I wonder if it will still be an action packed almost season finale episode that resolves a lot of the open questions, or more of a set up towards episode 16. Or both. |

I agree. It was interesting set up they were in, and there could have been some good development of those relationships in this situation, working through these issues from the past and present. It's an opportunity lost I think. It doesn't help that certain characters are largely overlooked like Jared's wife who's not even been in the show for some time.
It does seem better to me when the main focus is on the mystery plot. I hope there is lots more to come from that aspect. __________________

I think it's for sure that Ben and Grace will eventually work things out, and tbh it's the way that comes with less dumb drama so it's the best option, even more so because it's the one that results in Danny gone - even if he does continue to see Olive, that can be off screen (although I feel once Olive properly reconnects with Ben she may lose interest in Danny).
The show is definitely better when the focus is on the family and the mystery |
