A Million Little Things (1x02) - Band of Dads

“band of dads” – The group tries to be there for Sophie as an upcoming father-daughter dance recital approaches, and when she asks a very reluctant and arrhythmic Eddie to dance with her, it leaves Delilah feeling uneasy. Against her better judgment, Maggie agrees to have Rome in for a therapy session, but it quickly becomes clear that her new friendships are a conflict of interest. Meanwhile, Danny confesses a secret to Gary; Maggie receives an unexpected visitor from her past; and someone discovers a cryptic voicemail from Jon that was left right before he died, on “A Million Little Things,” WEDNESDAY, OCT. 3 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

“A Million Little Things” stars David Giuntoli as Eddie Saville, Ron Livingston as Jon Dixon, Romany Malco as Rome Howard, Allison Miller as Maggie Bloom, Christina Moses as Regina Howard, Christina Ochoa as Ashley Morales, Grace Park as Katherine Kim, James Roday as Gary Mendez, Stephanie Szostak as Delilah Dixon and Lizzy Greene as Sophie Dixon.

Guest stars include Sam Huntington as Tom, Chance Hurstfield as Danny Dixon, Ricky He as Don, Rob LaBelle as Gene and Nathan Witte as Mark.

“band of dads” was written by DJ Nash and directed by James Griffiths.

so was the voicemail saying he approved of the affair ?
i thought the secretary killed him in the pilot. but now i guess he really did kill himself and left the voicemail saying he wanted them to be happy since he wasnt going to be around?

i like the relationship with gary and danny. and how he picked up on the fact that he might be gay with the whole "ella" being a boy.

Yeah, it sound like he was okay about their affair, but the question is that why he jump in the first place even he's okay w/ their affair?!?!?

Me too.. It seem that Gary and Danny have close relationship that Danny always come to him to talk about whenever he needs him..

I wouldn’t say he was OK with the affair, but because he knew he was going to jump and kill himself, he gave his “blessing” for them to be together after he was gone. That is how I interpreted it...

We don’t know what else was in that envelope for Delilah that Ashley is keeping. I was thinking Jon was having an affair with her, or maybe she’s had like this “school girl crush” on him, but she’s def doing some sketchy stuff.

I’m not fond of the “gay” storyline. There’s so much other stuff they could have done with Danny’s character to bond him & Gary, but I like how close they seem to be and Gary will continue to look out for him.

I love how much the women have embraced Maggie so soon.

She’s def becoming “one of them” already, whether she, or Gary, likes it or not.

I hope Rome will tell Regina soon about his suicide attempt. That was sad, but Jon pretty much saved Rome’s life by taking his.

I felt like he was truly okay w/ it. .I mean, it seems that there is more story to it.. But that's what i felt when he said in voicemail..

I felt that way also.

And there is definitely more to the stuff with the secretary.

I loved Rome and the daughter dancing at the end. It seems like everything was planned...do you think he had a terminal illness or something?
