It's really over!!! such good memories I have of this show. I'm happy with how they ended the show.

Finally MG/Lizzie kiss, I've wanted these two together since s1. lol The writers love blocking their kissing scenes both Caroline and Alaric. MG was right fighting to keep the school open, I knew Lizzie would come around to his side.


Enjoyed the Hope/Klaus flashbacks and his message to her was really sweet. glad she got that moment with him and Landon being there with her also made it even better. I actually thought Landon would come back to the living that was a surprise. Hope sending the weapon that can kill her to Josie just makes sense. the one person she truly trust.

Wasn't expecting Jed to be human again. but he seems to bet ok with it so I like it. and now Ben and Jed can be happy.

Kaleb and Cleo scenes were great too. I like how he wanted her to move to Atlanta with him when they thought the school was closing.

Alaric stepping down as head master and Caroline returning to take over is fitting since they both started the school for their kids.

For some reason I loved the ending scene with Hope welcoming the new students, complete opposite from the first episode.

Ugh, I am sad to see the show is over, but I do think they did a pretty nice job considering it was last minute. I guess I don't have a whole lot of complaints, but there are a few.

My biggest gripe was not seeing Josie again. I understand if it was hard to get the actress back but I am just bummed she wasn't there because she was such a huge part of the show. I do like that she was mentioned and that Hope sent the weapon to her, but regardless, I wanted to see her. I also found it a little odd we got no moments between Alaric and Lizzie and had them talk about their family dynamic considering the show revolved so heavily around them...

We also didn't see Rafael or Dorian. I wonder if it was a planned series finale if we would have. I do think both of their stories wrapped up okay, but still, that's a bit of a bummer.

I didn't ship Landon and Hope but wow, Landon's ending really sucked. I'm sure they were planning to bring him back and put him with Hope again, but they didn't have time to explain it all. It just sucks that he was just dead and they weren't together? Landon was screwed this season, but also Handon, I feel bad for their fans.

I loved the Ben/Jed scenes a lot, that opening scene was cute, and the kiss scene was freaking cute. YAY for another kiss. I felt like Jed's being human storyline was a bit unnecessary but whatever. I am just glad neither of them died and they ended up together. Considering they left the school can we get a spin off series with them please? LOL

I also felt bad for MG/Lizzie fans in the sense that they got shafted the ENTIRE series until the very very end. Their kiss was very lackluster. I didnt see chemistry there at all, and it was so quick. It would have been way more epic had they kissed in the cave iMO, but whatever. At least they finally got their crap together.

I was glad to see Wade and Pedro again, if just in the background. A bit weird we never saw other characters again like Sebastian, Clarke, Jade, Penelope etc, but again, the show never really had the time to bring them back even if they had wanted to.

I was glad to see Caroline again but honestly, I didn't feel like she was really needed. Had both the girls been there then yes, but without Josie it felt a little off. We never ever got to see Josie and Caroline together. Also, Candice has been absent from the ENTIRE SERIES so it just felt a bit dropped in and weird to see her pop up now. It would have been much beter for her to show up before the fight in the chance Lizzie could ahve died!!! And to me, it didnt feel natural between Candice and Jenny either imo but whatever, it was cool to have her back again.

The Klaus message was sweet and I do think that it was sort of needed becasue we've seen Hope talking about her dad so much in the series. It was a tad cheesey but I dont care because he's an important person to Hope and her journey.

I didn't really see the point of Alaric just leaving. (Did he say where he was going). but I feel like that was the show runners way of kind of giving him the middle finger lol. The scene with Hope and Alaric was nice though, and I liked the mention of them being like a second/third father and daughter../

I do love that Caroline became the Headmistress of the school but it just kinda sucks we arent even going to see it? but I do love that the school is still up and running and I really like that Hope ended the series opening the door and welcoming everyone. (though I think it could have ended on the door scene instead.)

It does suck we didn't see Joise who was a huge part of the series. I'm sure they tried to get Kaylee to come back.

I loved the Klaus/hope scenes the best. so emotional and a great way to end the series.

I also really enjoyed the Jed/Ben scenes. I want them to get a spinoff. so glad they are happy and together. although did they really need to make Jed human?

where was Alaric going? I was confused with that. he said something about wanting to write a book about the students and creatures they encounter at the school but did he have to leave to school to do that ?

loved seeing Caroline back but it did seem a bit odd having her there since she had nothing to do with the school thought the whole series. I would have liked to seen her and Alaric talking about the future of the school. I guess they were limited on time to do this finale ?

I didn't get why they made Jed human, it's not likes it's something he mentioned he wanted at any point throughout the show.

Guess he needed a break to clear his head. some writers tend to take a trip in order to clear their mind before they begin writing. So I didn't find it off that he wanted to leave.

She was always on the road trying to get students to enroll while also looking for a cure Josie/Lizzie at the time. Since they could never get Candice to appear before the finale. But I did want a scene between Caroline/Alaric. I'm sure it was hard trying to decide what to put in the final episode. they did their best.
