Julie's Art Thread #4: For me, creating stuff is both fun and theraputic.
I have been passionate about creating stuff ever since I was a little girl. I used to draw a lot and sometimes paint and make models, and I scan some of my old work. I stopped doing those things many years ago due to a few of my illnesses, but I have found other ways to express my creativity. I would also like to have a go at drawing and painting again - maybe on the computer, as I do miss it. Here is a selection of my work. I made these pictures of John Simm incorporating a couple of my photos - a sunset and Monk Fryston Hall (a 1000-year-old building which is a hotel), colouring etc.     __________________

Recently I made screen caps from the film The Shout, on the computer with my DVD and I also took the same pictures with my camera from the TV. I've made icons and am working on some arts and collages from them. Here are some icons to start with.                     __________________

Here are the first arts I made from my TV photos of John from The Shout. I fixed the pictures and used colouring, grain, blurring, and other effects.       __________________
