Help for Boards #1: We all want help in our time of need.
Help for Boards This thread is for boards with little to no art makers or posters. We don't like seeing boards struggling or going without the pretties. As members we can't possibly visit every board on a daily basis to find out who needs help. So, please post in here with a link to your board and we will help. If, as a member, you see a board please post the preparation thread here, so we can see what they ask for. PLEASE REMEMBER Arts will be made if we have enough notice. Please try not to ask last minute. Let us know once the preparation has gone, so we can take you off the list. Boards will be added in order we have noticed or have been asked. When picking a board to help, try and pick a board closest to the top of the list. It doesn't matter if more than one person helps a board, the more the better. Can add Katie Cassidy if you want :shrug: I've made art and think Holly will make some too - but we are coming up to 25K, but think we are near enough to 1 year. That we are going to combine the two together

Great idea for a thread, Jade :nod: I hope we'll get some submissions for our celebration thread (think we'll reach 10k sometime next week, so that's pretty soon!).
Maybe we can keep the list in the OP updated with celebration preparation threads? :) I'd gladly contribute some arts to boards on subject I know at least something about :lol: |

Yes, I was thinking of editing the OP and setting it up with a list of boards. When celebrations have passed preparation they will be taken off the list. Once it's set up, i'll post on random board guide's letting people know it exists :hug: EDIT: I spotted Teen Wolf, I won't add it until they request or if some time has passed and still no arts submitted. |
That's a very good idea! There are a lot of boards celebrating every time and they need help. I'd be happy to help always :nod:

Question: What I don't get is in what way this thread is any different to the Request system we already have? This is the thread and we have it on page 1 almost all the time. :lol: So it is used quite well. So why do we need the same thing again? :shrug:

Hey there, thanks for dropping by :wave: The reason for this thread is because members rarely go to the Request threads for celebration arts. I have seen members on the Moderators board say that they're constantly begging for help. This thread is designed for that. :love: We can't just keep listing boards that have celebrations in the Request thread. 99% all requests get done, this thread it doesn't have to be done. Request Thread has links in the op, mainly people asking for icons or wallpapers.
Here, we can recommend boards that may need help and they might get arts depending on our availability. There's no pressure for this. :D We link the boards in the OP that struggle. You do NOT request an icon etc here. They are not the same thing. there was a limit to request only one avatar or banner a week, Theresa and I decided to take it away for avatars but it still counts for banners though. When celebrating you could need more banners and avatars so I think it's a good idea to have it in two different threads

Usually request threads 1 member makes the art and then it's taken off the list, this thread multiple members can contribute :yay: That way there's a variety of pretties for them. |
I hope I am in the right thread, the title of this thread was confusing to me, never been to this board before. Sorry in advance if I am not in the right place! :)
The Carrie Underwood board is celebrating our 8th Anniversary here on :ff: on December 1st. Any help with a banner and/or a few icons would be wonderful and much appreciated! :flowers: There are currently no artwork makers at the board right now so I admit to being a little desperate. :lol: We haven't celebrated the anniversary at the board for a few years now so wanted to try to make it special. :) Here is a website that has a lot of great current Carrie pictures including several recent photo shoots. As the iZombie board, we only have around 350 posts to go till we hit 10k. So in certainly less than a week, maybe right after this weekend, we will reach 10k!
