Hi everyone :wave:,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us :).

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

As far as images are concerned of course the first that comes to mind is the South Korean flag. As well as finger hearts like this or this. I'll have to look at if there are more variations! And I also gotta dig into other image ideas. I think it'd be good to keep things as general as possible so not to show any kind of favoritism toward one group or another.

When it comes to colors and kpop I think colorful, soft, and cute. If that makes sense? :lol: I found a couple prelimanary examples that matched well with that idea. Here they are:

I agree, especially if more pictures and style ideas are shared! Definitely helps the GT Dave so your input/ideas would be most helpful!

I'd be wary on if the darker shades of that one would be harsh on the eyes so they may need to be softened or darkened

I think those are good ideas for images :nod: I was thinking of maybe including the different music show trophies like MCountdown, Show Champion and Music Bank. Or the end of year awards trophies like MAMA , Seoul Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards. Also, I was thinking of using the VLive symbol since a lot of groups used the app a lot to interact with fans.

I like the two choices you choose, Rae since that's what I think of K-Pop with those type of colours. I'm not too sure about the watermelon colour since I feel like it fits more so to Red Velvet :look: but I think it's all those fruit MVs they have been doing :lol:

You can always combine colours from different colour schemes if you want too :)

I was thinking of including lightsticks but I don't know if we can keep it in general since each group has a different one :look:

hmm yeah I don't know how you could keep them general... maybe have lightsticks but avoid using K-Pop related ones? (presuming that's possible) I was thinking like the long thin ones or even bracelets if that works? Or even a thick straight ones?

I also found this or this which has a few K-Pop lightsticks in it. Maybe if they're small enough & there's a few of them it won't seem like favouritism so much?

I think the thick straight ones might work and making the K-Pop lightsticks small might also work too. There is also the option of using the pen lightsticks like this one. Or we got choose the interesting K-Pop lightsticks and have a range of different groups :shrug:

ones like that could work too & be not too obviously related to set groups :nod:. Up to you guys what you'd like but I think they'd be nice - especially if its a popular aspect of K-Pop :)

I'll see what everyone else thinks :) but I think it should be included since a lot of different groups use them.

Also I think a dancing group silhouette should be included as dancing is such a big part of K-Pop.
