Off Topic #2: Sharing the last of our Summer adventures

Sarah anxiety with loud noise, they definitely don't go well together.

Ana Hiya!

I've had one of those insane days.

ETA and now I can't figure out how to change the title. :look:

Okay, I figured it out. This takes a lot of practice. Anyway, if you guys can think of a better title, let me know.

Hi everyone!

There You'll Be 08-07-2018 02:46 PM

 Hi Norman! Great timing.

How's your day gone? I hope you're having a good one. :)

Kim  Yes when I got diagnosed with GAD year and a half ago, everything started to make sense

There You'll Be 08-07-2018 03:32 PM

Sarah I was just coming back because I forgot to say that it's pretty cool they're keeping your niece's name a secret till she's born. :D I bet it's killing them keeping quiet though.

I am SO glad you were diagnosed. It makes knowing what's happening a little easier.

I take medicine for mine.

crash landing 08-07-2018 03:40 PM

Think my sister learnt from her first girl where they told the name before and now just keeping it a secret. She's enjoying it even if she's sore where my first niece was a premie :wiggle: so my sister is large and in-charge

I also take medicine for mine too :wiggle: started on antidepressants the day before my 30th :rotfl: than my occassionally insomnia ended up becoming horrible probably from the high dose [150mg] of antidepressant. So a specialists at the hospital started me on insonmia medicine

There You'll Be 08-07-2018 03:51 PM

 I'm glad she's happy, and is holding this baby in. :P

Ugh, insomnia is hard. I'm glad that you've been put on something. It takes a lot of strength to ask for help.

I saw one of your posts said you had insomnia that night. Does it come and go, or stick with you?

I'm about to take a very late nap. Naps are one of my favorite things. https://www.smilies.4-user.de/includ..._sleep_070.gif

Yea my mood just become ugly and not me while at work beginning of 2017, so went to famiy doctor and than went on sick leave :wiggle:

Yea its mainly been under control as of late where don't get troubled by it much :thud: Holly can speak of times before I got on meds for it when it was horrible :lmao: sometimes I would still be on during her wake up time where she's 6 hours ahead

Musidora 08-07-2018 08:45 PM

The title is great, Kim, don't worry about it :) And if you have any questions about technical stuff like how to edit threads or merge posts, feel free to PM me and I'll help you out. It does take practice like you said

Do I hear the very familiar word anxiety? I try keeping mine under control as much as possible, and thankfully I have a great support system with my mom and friends but sometimes it's tough. I hope the meds are working out for you girls, always good to put your mental health first.

On random news, I've decided to get a pixie cut  I've been meaning to get one for a while now but I always backed down because my current hair is something I'm always getting compliments on so it's an ego thing  But now I know it's something I want, regardless of what people think, and I'm excited to finally get it. Do any of you have (had) a pixie cut?

This is one of my reference pictures (and most likely the cut I'll be getting):

That's great, Holly. How many do you have of each? How many brothers or sisters? Kids are the best...well, when they're someone else's.

They are the kids of my cousins.. they both have each a girl and a boy <3

Ana, I love that.. I had one years ago.. went from long hair to a pixie cut very spontaneously.. I loved it for the time being, but atm I'm happy with my long hair again..

There You'll Be 08-08-2018 08:38 AM

Sarah, I'm glad it's rarely happening now. :)

Ana, glad you have a great support system. That's very helpful, and very important.

Ooh! I got one about a month ago. I bed you'll love it. Have you had one before? Mine is a little longer than that picture, but I love it. I bet you'll be happy with it, and I'm sure people will love it on you.

Holly, how sweet. It's nice to be around both. :D

I was up in the middle of the night, so slept in a couple of hours, which was nice.

Oh interesting about a pixie cut :) looks interesting

Musidora 08-08-2018 09:05 AM

That's cool you both had/have one, Holly and Kim  How was/is it like to maintain it?

I'm getting mine today and I'm nervous  I'm 100% sure of my decision but I've had this long hair for a while now so it'll be weird at first, I'm sure. But I'm ready for the change

crash landing 08-08-2018 09:05 AM

Probably had one as a kid

Musidora 08-08-2018 09:19 AM

:lmao:

I've had it super short before but I still had a fair amount of hair to hide behind, and now I'm going to let my face on full display. God help me :rotfl:
