I'm hesitant because of all the things i've heard about the main couple. I'm sure I'll like them at first... but not sure how I'll like them later. Also, it seems to move quick... already married in ep 5... i think... are there time jumps or something??

and i just realized when they mentioned , that the bridgertons children name goes by alphabet, interesting

I overall really like Simon/Daphne and I do ship them but I'll admit they didn't fully capture me.

They're really cute together and their chemistry is great but I'm just not in that OMG I absolutely love this couple and I need to reblog everything and etc. with them.

And there is something that happens during a certain scene that I hate. I hear it's better than what happens in the book but I still hate it and I'm not even sure why they kept in.

The show and some things I heard about did however make me eager to read the 2nd book (and I do want to read more) and I loved it and loved the couple in it. Honestly they're my favorite couple of the Bridgerton series right now and can't wait for them in S2.

As for a quick marriage well marriages happened pretty quickly in those days. Especially if there was a hint or the possibility of a hint (or there was legit) scandal. And well...

As for the pacing of the show/the couple I can't remember how I felt about it. I've watched it once and all of it in one day and while I was tired.

I was spoiled on who it was so I wasn't surprised during the reveal but when I first heard I was like oh wow.

Makes it easier to know the order they were born.

I hope so too. I do too. I've already read the 2nd book and really loved it.
