Just watched the S2 premiere. I like that it got started and ended with steamy CoNic.
It was interesting watching Bell as an administrator trying to juggle all the different decisions and opinions. He seems pretty overwhelmed but I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes. Conrad was really gutsy to open up the kid in the ER and help get the makeshift OR going. I’m glad the kid lived. I knew something was going to happen to the dad of the twins, but it really did take a while to intensify. I was expecting something dramatic a lot quicker since he was shown pretty early on in the episode. I really like nurse Jessica! I’m not claustrophobic by diagnosis but I’m terrified of getting stuck in an elevator so I could 10/10 relate to her. Also smiled at “What happens in the elevator stays in the elevator.” |

I watched 2x2 and 2x3 tonight. I really enjoyed 2x3 (Three Words) and seeing the flashbacks of CoNic’s relationship. The miscarriage was so sad, and so were Nic’s worries during the fight between her and Conrad that he would never change.
The boy with pancreatic cancer in the second episode was hard to watch, especially the surgery. My grandmother had a Whipple procedure over this past summer to remove some cysts from her pancreas, and she ended up being fine, which was a miracle at her age (she’s 90). Things were so tense for that boy and I’m glad he pulled through. I went through some episode synopses for S2 and it seems like Lane is coming back for an episode (ugh, thought she was gone gone) and that Kit is coming soon. I’m excited to see Kit’s character though and how she and Bell eventually end up together. I know about some things that are coming but still try to avoid spoilers where I can! |
