i actually love it when shows do time jumps. i'm also wondering who this person will be in terms of conrad's relationships.

It's a problem with all the fandoms no matter the show. Someone is cast and people only speculate about the person being a potential love interest. At the same time people are against the time jump (which in this case is mostly done so Conrad can get a new love interest eventually)

That would be mentally exhausting. It's not something he will get over in a few months or a year. It was the love of his life. That takes forever.
