I almost think airing them back to back on the same night would have been better. Episode 2 was definitely better then the pilot.

I can understand why though. Especially with Gilmore Girls. Sometimes you don't want all that fame. Always two sides - bad and good fame.
 Big shows bring a lot of spotlight, but I don't think he will be able to get away from Gilmore Girls...__________________

yeah I think he'll always be known for that but I do get that he wants to be known for his more recent work (in all honesty he's doing a better job on this show and on TGW (when he had the chance to shine) because he got more material to work with. On GG the focus was on the ladies, not the men material wise
how did the ep do on monday ratings wise? __________________

I can see especially with GG...it was about Rory's relationship and I am sure he hears hate because people don't want her with him....
