The Resident 3x05 "Choice Words" Season 3 Episode 5 Promo - After a plane crashes in Atlanta, Devon is overcome by guilt at the thought that he could have prevented the tragedy. Bell, who was a passenger on the plane, makes it his personal mission to save the life of the man seated next to him. Meanwhile, Adaku (guest star Erinn Westbrook) returns to ask Mina a big favor, the Raptor struggles with telling his birth parents about meeting his biological father and Conrad and Nic consider risking it all to investigate a drug that might be linked to Jessie's death in the all-new “Choice Words” episode of THE RESIDENT airing Tuesday, October 29th on FOX

Great episode with a really heavy topic.

I honestly can say that I would have reported the pilot and definitely agreed with Conrad there. Because something like that happened here a couple of years ago.

There was a guy, deemed unfit by his doctors here in 2015. But he never reported it to his workplace. He had severe depression. And in March, as a co-pilot for a commercial flight, he crashed the plane intentionally. It was his big suicide plan. He did and with him over 100 more people. Later they found several sick notes, even for the day he crashed the plane.

Even if it didn't end up being the pilot Devon treated, it easily could have been and it just reminded me of this horrible tragedy that actually happened.

I am still worried about Conrad and Nic. I know they are doing the right thing but it is also really dangerous.

I also worry about Mina's friend, and hope everything goes okay with her pregnancy and the birth later on.

It is scary when they take on stuff that actually happens in real life. I agree, he should have reported it. I work in healthcare, and understand patient confidentiality and all, but if people could be harmed, it is not worth it.

That is horrible what happened in your country, I remember hearing about that.

I am all about patient confidentiality, but there should be certain limits to it.

I didn't think about what happened here when I watched the promo, so it totally surprised me that it was all I could think about it during the episode.

Thought it was a good episode.

Devon was wrong imo for not reporting the pilot. I'm sorry but driving drunk could have hurt so many people. No second chances for that imo.

I know Conrad is trying to find out how to help people like jessie but he shouldn't have broke into the records, that is not going to go well for him.

i have a feeling Mina's friend is not going to make it.

The new doctor is so interesting.
