When I was in L.A. @malcolmjamalwar would perform around town with his band Miles Long. His band rehearsed in a lot of the same spaces I had rehearsals in so we would run in to each other from time to time. He was always nice. He’d smile and say hello…. I would freeze, every time. Lol. When I found out that I’d be on a gig with him, I had to give myself a pep talk. “You will not freeze! You have a job to do!” Lol. It was a great pleasure getting to share the stage with you and a bonus that you are a kind and hilarious human. Thank you for intro-ing my debut in Atlanta!
