The flashbacks to the surgery that changed her life was intense. She has changed a lot since then.

I agree I like Billie with Kit as her mentor that is the kind of scene's I want to see let us get used to her before throwing her past to us.

Well she was 13 when she gave birth (or maybe she had just turned 14), and her son is 18, so that would make her 31 or 32.

The producers mention they are debating if they will use a older child for CoNic if they do what will happen with Billie storyline then when her son was at her door.

They need to address what happened right away, it would be weird if they didn't.
