Also, WHERE THEY GET OLD LACE FROM?!?!

Apparently they bioengineered her. Doesn't explain the telepathic connection with Gert though...

I thought they used some of Gert's DNA when they made Old Lace so Old Lace would recognize and bond with Gert

That would be cool, but that's definitely not something explained at all. But it would be nice to know WHY and HOW there's a connection with Gert. And is it just Gert or also her parents?

^ Yeah, that's the thing with the show, some stuff are not explained well. It can get confusing for non-comic readers. :shrug:

I think there's a lot that is still unknown about a lot of things. And Old Lace's backstory and the connection is definitely one of them.I hope it's explored and told in S2.

Tina instantly knew that Old Lace was created by the Yorkes. And they're also figuring out how Victor's DNA is tied with whatever living creature is down there that Jonah is digging up.

Oh I didn't know that Victor shared DNA with that creature buried underground. That is interesting
