Hey everyone,

To those who frequent the board, I'm sure my absence has been noted. I've been away most of the time since the start of November, due to dealing with some rough emotional -- and partially mental -- issues. I simply wasn't able to be a good mod for this board, and I'm very sorry for that. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling. And with the heartbreaking cancellation of the show, it's just too difficult.

So after some discussion with my co-mod, Jackie, I've decided to step down as a moderator.

This board has stuck around for 3 years now, and I'm extremely proud of it. I feel so lucky to have met so many new people and been reunited with old friends. Our board may be small, but we've had such a dedicated group of posters over the years, and I really can't express my gratitude enough for how much love and energy you put into our little community. I am very grateful to everyone who ever posted here, whether it be one time or a hundred times.

Runaways is my favorite comic of all time. When the series was put into indefinite hiatus back in 2009, and plans for a movie were shelved, I was certain I would never get to see more Runaways again in my lifetime. Words can't describe the joy I felt being able to watch my favorite characters (and couples!) come to life and be so beautifully portrayed. Back in 2009, I would have never dreamed of a TV show about my favorite kids, let alone get 3 whole seasons worth of material. How lucky I've been, to be able to experience and share in that joy with you all.
