It's another case of post-Amy, Nico just closed off to everyone and everything. And it does feel that the initial kiss awoke Nico and allowed her to breathe and feel again.

I agree, Karolina definitely woke something up from Nico that's probably not yet realized until that kiss.

And I looooove that Virginia & Lyrica have great on-screen chemistry!

They're just so precious.

And now they're setting it up in the comics for them to FINALLY get together after 14 years, so I'm doubly excited.

I think we'll get good stuff in S2. I honestly was expecting S1 to be nothing but pining from K towards Nico but they really surprised us! I think it helps that Lyrica and Virginia love this pairing so much; they're fighting for the fans. The inevitable love triangle will be hard to watch, but I really believe K and Nico are endgame.
