Sorry I couldn't contribute much these days, I have had a crazy tight schedule and tried to stay offline as much as I can.

She is already working on the third book I think, and the filming for S2 starts soon. So it will probably be available before filming of S3. If not, that could also work.

But it seems they will diverge from the book even more this season so I am curious how the next book can follow up with the series.

Thanks Jess. My mum was over on the weekend so I was offline and yesterday I got too tired. Im back now.

I'm looking forward to the 2nd season and 3rd book!

I think in both books, Joe's portrayal is worse than show's Joe. Actually the show made most characters more likeable in comparison with the book.

Yes, I definitely agree with that.

I liked show’s Beck much better than the book’s. And while I don’t like Joe per se or empathize with him, I do like Joe better in the show, but that also has a lot to do with Penn’s portrayal of him.

ETA: Way ahead in 1st place atm!

Let’s hope it stays that way!

ITA. Penn's acting is captivating, and both Beck and Joe were better on screen. Plus addition of Paco, and being on Lifetime which means less explicit scenes and language also help on Joe's case.

Now that it's on Netflix there might be more explicit scenes now and the episodes might be longer.

I liked Joe and Beck more in the show too.
