Wondering if anyone will ever show up in this thread and eventually vote for a board since as I said in the info thread, it's been more than a year that this show is been filmed, it premieres in ten days and still nobody had opened a campaign for it or even talked much about it in the original show thread.

I noticed that a lot of original fans hates it already. Personally I think it could be interesting, but honestly I didn't like the original for some reasons, so.

Interesting that Max apparently comes in between Aki and Audrey because their relationship is getting a little dull. I already ship Aki with Max, though I wonder if it will be a poly ship or a simple triangle.

Aki is bisexual, Max is pansexual (Thomas Doherty said it in an interview).


This is an interview with Evan Mock. I saw a bunch of people criticisize him for being cast depite not being an actor, but hey Chace wasn't an actor either (he even told them!) and yet he gave us Nate.

Yeah, it's great to see! The original was very very white (just like most of the other tv shows back then, unfortunately. especially teen dramas). It seems on Tumblr and social media that a lot of peop,e are obsessed with Monet already.
What do you mean with Blair's trope? Audrey is the closest to Blair, it seems, just without her hunger for power.

Really? It was on Netflix, I think? Maybe it's still there? I remember deciding to watch the original back then because I saw Chuck and Blair everywhere and I wanted to know who they were and why everybody liked them

Anyway I don't think it's mandatory to watch the original to enjoy this one, since it's a continuation and I guess the OG characters will only be mentioned, unless they'll make a cameo at some point.

I meant the mean girl who is thirsty for power. I am loving the idea of the sister’s especially zoya. The original is on hbo max as well.

Oh, I get it! Yeah, I agree. I guess that's why I never really liked Blair since the pilot and my fave was Serena.

Julien and Zoya being sisters is going to be interesting! But I wonder if they know it already (since in the trailer Julies say "she's not from here" and nobody seems to know her) or if it's going to be something discovered later or happening later, like their parents getting married.

I'm intrigued by Julien and the whole Audrey/Aki/Max dynamic. I ship Max and Aki already, but this is GG, it's Safran's work, so I probably backed the wrong horse I wasn't lucky in the original and even in Smash Safran managed to ruin my ship, ignoring their chemistry because he clearly liked the other woman for the guy (I mean even as a single character, she got everything and beyond).

It's curious how the social media of this show is completely ignoring the other blonde of the group. I don't even remember her name.

Zoya is my favorite so far, which doesn't surprise me as I loved Jenny and she reminds me the most of her.
