I would suggest TSN to anyone who hasn't read it yet, such a wonderfully written book with lots of humor mixed with some sad and really beautiful moments. Normally I don't read too much YA stuff but it's one of my favorites now

I also read White Bird in a Blizzard but didn't enjoy it as much. I found I wanted to keep turning the page with TSN, I finished it in a day or two... but with this one I found it a chore to finish. It's very depressing, more of a character-study than suspense. Definitely a slow-burner but it gets better as the story progresses. Shai's character (Kat) reminds me of Alex in The Descendants - and although she's not quite as much of the "bad girl", Shai will still get to curse plenty The book is told from her perspective so it will be interesting to see how that works out. Hopefully I will enjoy the film much more.

I'm most interested in The Fault in Our Stars because i've heard so many good things about the book, but i'm curious about all her upcoming films.
