Well that can happen, or they can make a different make up or a different actor can play Annatar form. I think I'd prefer the wig and make-up if they are gonna change his form They can make it without changing his appereance too imo, telling that people see him in Annatar form but we keep seeing his Halbrand form... They emphasized his shapeshifting ability so I expect for different forms tho also manipulative and deceiving...

Actually, I don't recall anything specific about Annatar form. That form is from the video games as I recall. It's not even specific if Annatar is a human or elf, etc. The only feature is that he is very good looking and charming Charlie Vickers was a great choice in that regard imo

Well, Charlie has always been on set, I don't think they'd use another actor.

Oh well, I ddin't even know who nnatar was, before RoP came out and people started mentioning him so I have no idea if he's been descripted in the books.

Speaking of Charlie, I also remember reading a post finale interview where he recalled his audition process, the way he didn't know he was auditioning for you-know-who, but at some point he suspected it because of the monologued they had asked him to prepare.

Most people didn't know who Annatar was. And some people who knew, debated why Halbrand was not called Annatar, they are changing SLs, names bla bla I mean, besides everything else, if he'd be called Annatar then everyone would know he was Sauron at the beginning.

... I knew that there was something fishy about Halbrand simply because the name sounded completely unfamiliar... and I've read the LOTR appendices a couple times over the years...

.. And then I started wondering in the Numenor episodes, where he just killed men...

Hope they keep the actor as Annatar/Sauron moving forward because he is good.

As for LOTR, I ended up re-watching the 3 movies twice in 3 weeks

My biggest issue with Faramir & Eowyn is that we haven't seen them enough while they were supposed to getting to know each other in the 3rd movie - it's probably due to the length of the 3rd movie - but it would have been nice to see the unreleased scenes as part of the anniversary dvd/blu-ray editions...

That usually happens to me too, I start rewatching and end up rewatching more than once

I wish we could see Faramir and Eowyn more too, even tho we haven't get to see them I still love them very much I also love them separately as characters

Love them both - and the fact that they filmed the Faramir & Eowyn wedding, but we've never got to see it makes me sad...

Rewatches And re-reading when it comes to LOTR - at this point I'm re-reading the novels at least once a year
