I would love to see it too. I visited NZ 20 years ago, and I did visit a few locations they filmed in on the north island, but the Shire location had been torn down then and wasn't a tourist site. I'd love to go back, it's such a gorgeous place.

awww how lucky are you!! 20 years ago!!! wow. I recall that they remade it for hobbit movies and they kept it.
