We need some good scenes between those two when they do reunite
A part of me wants them to address why he didn't give her a proper goodbye __________________

I don't think we'll get much between them after the initial episodes. They'll be on different shows, so probably mostly crossovers.

Yeah I just expect the one episode but hope for at least that much in it. But presume I'll be disappointed. At least the deleted scene gave us part of a goodbye for them...
I hope they do do crossovers. L&O never really did all that much at least compared to One Chicago. But maybe after how well One Chicago is working they'll do it more with SVU & Organized Crime... __________________

Dick Wolf loves the crossovers. The showrunner for Fire says he likes them to have two a season, so another L&O show may mean crossovers

Oh good. Glad he loves them. Hope that means more opportunities for crossovers within the universe

He said the showrunners all know the call requesting a crossover is going to come, so hopefully that'll apply to SVU more often from now on (after COVID, anyway).

With covid none of them should but we've already had that conversation so know we are in agreement there
Glad they all know to expect the call. Hopefully we get more of them . I'll take just within the franchises. At least one per season for each of them could be quite nice. Then every now & then have one which includes a show in the universe. Even if its small like how Hailey appeared on FBI. Small character appearances are still fun __________________

I loved the crossovers One Chicago did with SVU, but rumour has it Mariska and Jason Beghe don't get along (no surprise there if true), so they stopped.

That would make sense if that was the case
No reason why SVU can't crossover with other shows in the universe though if Mariska didn't want to work with Jason Beghe though __________________

No reason for Beghe to still be there, tbh. I didn't like Erin, but Sophia shouldn't have been the one leaving. Being able to have SVU crossovers again would be a bonus, and tbh they need to involve PD as it's too much of a stretch for SVU/Fire or SVU/Med.

Yeah I think he should be the one to go too
Unfortunately it does make more logical sense to include PD. tbh though they could just have a crossover with PD & SVU without having Mariska or Beghe interact. Either of their characters could easily send members of their team to go help out the other team. But Mariska may not want her people to go deal with him __________________

Ideally they'd do what they did with Hailey and FBI and send someone from PD to SVU.

It's always been a possibility though, and it just hasn't happened.
