Everyone that I've spoken to that watches SVU has said there's very little on that show, so they seem to be respecting her development on her own show, at least.

Yeah he doesn't crossover often. There just was at least one scene in this season of SVU which I was talking about. Even in it she still got her development, but they are still allowing the hints to appear in both shows.
