He hasn't liked any directly saying it wasn't his choice, but he was liking so many saying he's the heart of the show, and from people saying they weren't going to watch without him. He's also definitely been tagged in hundreds saying it wasn't his choice and hasn't refuted it. The network also haven't refuted it.

Promoting the abuser is the bigger issue though, and we really cannot shut up about that, it's abhorrent.

Maybe he's just appreciating the love for him & his character but still :look:

Yes that one needs to be what is pushed & put out there, far more than the firing of cast for no good reason. That's a worse move. Kinda ironic but mostly disgusting when Dick Wolf has one show bringing to light abuse & sex crimes & making it ok to come forward, however he's covering things up in his shows. Condoning the behaviour of an abuser & rewarding him

He also liked one saying that they hoped the audience got an explanation soon. He was liking a lot that night so he may not have even been reading them, but it's odd.

It's appalling. I saw the question on twitter a few days ago - are they pro-abuse or anti-women? Or both, I would add.

shinebrighterxx 09-04-2022 01:30 PM

Yeah I feel like they are both :look:

BlondieLeigh 09-04-2022 01:48 PM

Definitely seems that way.

shinebrighterxx 09-05-2022 11:55 PM

They definitely won't respond to something like that though

They're still doing an excellent job ignoring it all :look:

BlondieLeigh 09-06-2022 12:35 PM

Nah they won't admit it.

It's so dumb that people are having to fight this hard for an explanation.

shinebrighterxx 09-06-2022 01:23 PM

They probably know they are in the wrong so don't know what to say in response

BlondieLeigh 09-06-2022 01:34 PM

Thing is, we don't even know the details of what happened with Jesse. Based on his likes he doesn't want to leave (he's liked a tweet including the campaign hashtags now, too), but right now I'm actually leaning towards their contracts were up and they didn't want to give him as much as they're giving the abuser.

Obviously we also don't KNOW for sure the reason that Kelli was let go, just the rumours that came from deuxmoi which are never verified, but with everything else we know I am kind of willing to assume it's true.

NBC and WolfEnt's silence is saying far more than they think it is - they know they're wrong for prioritising salary boosts for CEOs and abusers, they're just hoping we'll forget about it. I can't see that happening, the PD group especially are getting organised.

shinebrighterxx 09-06-2022 09:00 PM

I presume both contracts were up & Wolfent decided that they wouldn't pay them more or just not to offer them new ones :look:

If the rumours weren't true they would shut them down with the truth or the actors would

BlondieLeigh 09-07-2022 02:48 PM

Yep, but that doesn't make it their choice. I guess at least they have admitted that Kelli didn't want to go. They've said nothing about Jesse, and I mean nothing, it looks like even the statement of him leaving came from his people and not the show. They know about the backlash though, they had a live thing on youtube today and turned the comments off.

WolfEnt/NBC could have ended the backlash about Jesse days ago by just saying something, giving some kind of explanation, but they haven't, instead they've proven that they're trying to ignore it. A big part of it is that no one knows what even happened, and the only thing we have to go by are Jesse's likes suggesting it wasn't his choice, Tracy seeming quite sad and vague comments his sister has apparently been making on insta.

shinebrighterxx 09-07-2022 03:11 PM

oo that's a bit cheeky of them. But they should be able to do live videos without being harassed too so smart of them to turn off the comments. Fans however need answers to all of this & what is going on. The longer they ignore, the worse it gets. You could say the bigger the hole they're digging for themselves... but if they've fired them (or even one of them) just because they don't want to pay them or for a worse situation they're not going to want to admit to that so they just think silence is the answer. Maybe they're going with 'if you ignore the bullies, they'll go away' theory but the fans aren't bullies & they aren't going to just go away

BlondieLeigh 09-07-2022 03:18 PM

It wasn't live, live, it was just some live playing of a video of what they call their greatest scenes. They've never done it before. People think it's damage control.

They've asked for this backlash by saying nothing. And yeah, the longer it goes on the more and more they make it worse for themselves. You'd think if it was the choice of either of the actors, they'd want that information out there.

shinebrighterxx 09-09-2022 03:50 PM

hmm interesting :look: Stupid if they think that is going to work as damage control

Exactly. They're asking for it & getting what they deserve right now. The ball is in their court if they want it to stop

BlondieLeigh 09-09-2022 04:01 PM

Apparently it only had 71 people watching it live :lmao:

It's not too much to ask for an explanation. There's clearly bigger issues in wolfent though. Maybe big enough to require outside intervention...
