Heather in 3D was purely amazing.

I might even say that it's worth going to see the film, because everyone should experience her live singing/dancing/boobs in 3D.

No, not really any special effects. The streamers coming at you at the end of Loser Like Me, and the confetti coming down after STL was pretty much the big effects that I can think of.

Honestly? It was ok. They cut bits of Slave out here and there, but it was almost the full number. It was great seeing the cast on the big screen, but they edited it far too much for it to be a true concert movie. It was slightly disappointing, especially after having been at the actual concert, and seeing all the videos from others on YT.

I agree. I was kind of disappointed they didn't keep the original order of the songs either, but I guess someone who didn't see it live wouldn't know that, but that was sort of my pet peeve with it.

I'm curious to see what ends up on the dvd that RM has already mentioned. There was a TON cut, including two full numbers. Maybe some good bts stuff too.

Yeah, there was an offhanded comment about Jane's part from the concert being cut and put on the DVD version of Glee Live. But I haven't seen any actual release date or anything for that.
