Um I'm not sure. I don't really think so.. it's centered around Hobbs and Shaw teaming up.. but idk what for.

What I'm curious about is if this is a spin off... if that means they're both not going to be in the 9th movie? Or if they are, maybe this takes place in the hiatus before then.

I haven't seen much info on the Hobbs and Shaw movie.

So I’m guessing it won’t have the cast & Furious title than if cars aren’t involved?

Tokyo Drift was still street racing related. They also ended up including it in the FF franchise properly.

I'm not really a fan of Hobbs. But I guess he's popular enough to have a spin-off.

I don't think it'll have the cast. I would be surprised if anyone else from the franchise made an appearance.
But no it won't have the title.. I just said what the title was

It's announced to be named Hobbs and Shaw.

I can't say what or who will be in it since I don't see much info on it. We'll just have to find that out later.

I don't care much if it's not solely focused on street racing. Though there might be a scene or something with that in there. I mean even F6 and F7 had a bit of that in there without mainly focusing on it.

But yeah I do hope we get more info on it sooner. Since it does come out next year.
Also not sure if anyone knew, but F9 is coming in 2020 and F10 is coming in 2021. So we don't have to wait that long from F9 to F10

10 movies is quite a bit and I'm thankful it will last even that long. I'll probably be kinda sad when the last movie comes, cuz that will mean the franchise is over.

I'd rather they finish on a high note. I still think F6 would've been a great ending to the franchise.

^ If they had ended with 6, we would've never found out that Dom and Letty were married and that she regained her memories. Or how Deckard Shaw tied into Han's death..

And I quite liked F7 and the introduction to Ramsey

Plus the dedication to Paul at the end
